Rob's Ribs
by Robert Rohrman
Ingredients
Take ribs and rub them all over with cumin, essence, Salt and Pepper. Take a fork and tenderize the meat in between each bone. This will also take the spices deep into the meat. Put oven at 350 degrees. Take ribs and place face down in the pan. Pour BBQ, a little water or stock. A douse of beer will not hurt either or a little red wine. Whatever you like...Make sure liquid is about 3/4 of an inch deep and the ribs are about 1/2 under water with the meat side facing down. Put a few cloves of garlic in the pan for flavoring, then cover tightly with foil. Put in the oven for 2 hrs. Take out then turn oven to broil. Put ribs on a broil rack and cover with your favorite sauce and a dash of essence. Broil for 2 minutes tkae out and cover again with bbq sauce. By this point they are falling off the bones. Dash some fresh cut parsley on them and serve. Add more essence to make spicier.
